Furniture Exhibition 1720 - 1900

This Exhibition examines Jamaica's tradition in cabinet making. Bringing together some of the little remaining furniture from the 18th century with furniture from the 19th century, the exhibition offers us a view of the development of both the history and style of furniture in Jamaica, as well as the ways in which this history relates to other aspects of Jamaica's historical development.

The Furniture Exhibition was a temporary exhibition and opened from April 19th, 2007.
